Oaklen is 100% TWO!

Well in true fashion this boy is two! I am sure you can see him working hard to rearrange his bike just so.... to run over his brother.

This photo is right after he shut the computer and stole Colton's Space Derby! But with a quick smile all is forgotten! RIGHT?!?!?!?

Dagen is doing what?

Well for starters on a Saturday morning Dagen showed me his break dancing moves.

Then he had to show me all of his skills.

Followed by pitching the ball inside....yes, at my walls.

Then it turned into beaning his dad with the ball. Run Ryan Run!!

Trust me that boy as some heat.....could be painful!
So Grandma you ask what Dagen is up to......a lot........full of energy like always!

Colton's Scout Space Derby

Colton's first Derby in Scouts happened to be a Space Derby. Colton loves the space shuttle so that is what he painted his like. He spent many hours getting it just right. It looked AWESOME!!

He was excited to race! I am sure he had figured out all the scientific deals to do well!

We are so proud of him he took 3rd Place! Great Job Kido!!! We love you!

Being the Baby

This week has been a busy one. Parent teacher for the big boys! Colton is still the top reader in his grade and a top speller. Dagen is getting straight A's and has gone into the higher reading group. He also made his first basket in a game!! We are very proud of both the boys!

Then there is Oaklen....Saturday we found him on top of the table with a 1/2 dozen rolls. He would take a roll and dip it into honey butter then eat one bite and move on to the next. Sad thing was we just let him because it was so dang cute! No wonder babies of the family turn out the way they do.

Double the FUN!!

THIS IS OUR DAY!! ONE BIG CELEBRATION!!!! OUR SHARED BIRTHDAY!!! WHAT COULD BE BETTER?

The boys made sure that both Birthday's were celebrated! They got me a Princess cake and Oaklen a Monster Truck cake. We did presents, cakes, and Texas Roadhouse dinner together. Thanks for a great day everyone!

This is my Day! 20 something?!?!?

Oh yeah.....this day belongs to me now!!!! 2 Years

This is INSANE!!

So I had this great idea.....I thought I would potty train Oaklen starting now! So I ran out and bought big boy undies and potty treats. Well the insane part is it has been 2 weeks and he has only went in the toilet once. Yes, that means it has been lots of loads of laundry and many carpet cleanings. When do I finally say, "He is just not ready?" So far the only thing it has done is convince him that running around without clothes surely beats being dressed.

Spring Time Fun?!?!?

You have to love Idaho spring. This was the family activity for Sunday evening. Notice the snow and the coats. But hey the boys thought it was great to go outside.

Dagen thinks it is a bonus you still get to dig in the snow, but now you don't have to wear gloves.

Mudd Budd

We got a dog last year to help the boys get over the fear of dogs. It worked at first, but not so much anymore. The only one that still hangs with him is Oak.

Here is our gentle giant, Mudd Budd. He is afraid of stairs and hallways. lol. This is Ryan hauling him around. Boy no wonder the big boys are scared. He is as big as them.

Funny things: Fire Breathing, Gangster Grandma, Sexy tooth licking by Lynn, Braxton shaking the soda, the ladies at Dress Barn know Grandma by name, Wade showing us the unedited video, the Prima Donna's, Ashely and Amber watching the clean up, Sewing Jen into her dress, Carolyn telling Mom she will not see her for a few days, Lynn's interventions in the hotel, Jen packing bed pants, Mandie doing the splits, Oh there are so many more I can not list!!!!

Wickenburg Way

We finally got to see where our parents have been living for half of the year. It is a cute little western town. They both looked really good. We loved soaking up the sun, eating at a yummy cafe, and panning for gold. We did have to tease Grandpa a little about his new Wickenburg mustache!

6 Day Road Trip!!

We took a 6 day road trip....just Suzanne, Mandie, Jay, and Austen! We went from Idaho Falls to Phoenix. Let just say that is a very long car ride. Thank goodness I was prepared with my ADD bag!


It might look like I am bugging the crap out of Austen, but I can promise that wasn't the case. I am now his very favorite Auntie! ha ha


Rock on Mandie! Oh the things I learned about this chick. Did you know she hates her elblows touched, and she can still do the splits, it takes her 1 hour to get her hair ready...you all might think she is a lady, but I might beg to differ. We had a blast and believe it or not I would do it again!
