Choo Choo

 

Grandpa and Grandma Smith have wanted to take the boys on the train for a long time.  So for Grandma's 70th Birthday we took a trip on the train.  It was fun to use public transportation....not a lot of that here in the country.  lol  We had a great time.  We all meet up at Tracy and Valerie's for a little Birthday dinner. It was a fun time.

 

 

Sunday we took a trip to Temple Square it was nice to be together.

Mini Trip

Quick mini trip to Utah.  We spent the day swimming and then went to the planetarium.  It was a great little break!

Crash and Burn

 

One the way home from our trip I get a call from Ryan saying don't freak out when you see Dagen's face.  He had a bike crash and was totally road rashed under his nose and chin and a big chip out of his front tooth.  Good war scars the girls will love it.  lol 

Youth Trip

Amazing Trip with they Youth!  Love these kids they are great.  We did welfare square, shopping, FHE, and Logan Temple.   So Much FUN!!!!!

Colton has started playing trumpet this year.  Here he is before his concert....looking so handsome.  They sounded great!  Good Job!

St Patrick's Day

Dagen love St. Patrick's Day he hunts for leprachauns for months in advance.  This is part of our green dinner.  Mint ice cream YUM!

Look who had a Birthday!

Oaklen had a birthday!!  He picked to have a friend party at Leo's.  He was super excited to have his first birthday party.  He took cupcakes to school and played hard.  Happy Birthday!

Friends

Nothing Better then hanging with good friends.  Shelton was in town so the gang got back together for a few days of fun.  This lunch was 16 hot dogs, 2 large cans of chilli, and 2 bags of chips.  Good times!

100 Days Smarter

Oaklen is 100 day's Smarter!  Seriously this kids has learned so much this year!!! 

He is reading it is AWESOME!

Officially a TEEN!!!!

 

Colton is officially a teen!  His birthday consisted of a night skiing with his Dad, a new bike, and Carl's JR.  lol  Hey it is one step up from Micky D's.  lol  Guess my baby is growing up.

First Lost Tooth

Oaklen had to have a little help with his first lost tooth.  He was growing a shark tooth so dentist had to pull it out.  He kept saying he was Rudolph and was going to fly out the window.  He did great!

 

Last Pinewood Derby

Dagen's last pinewood derby.  He took 3rd place!  Good job kiddo!

Like to say.....I truly tried deep cleaning my dishwasher........FAILED!

Love it!

Oaklen loves the idea of SNOW!!!!  When it finally stuck it was so thrilling...to his 5 year old mind.

Christmas 2013

Merry Christmas!!!!!

 

 

Colton got his Sister aka Dagen hair bows lol.  We had a great time teasing with those.

They got cyco cycles and just had to take them for a spin outside.

Candy Canes

 

On day we got a surprise package left at Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen's.  It was an elf of the shelf and we named him Candy Canes.  Oh he was a naughty little elf and did a lot of mischief. 

 

To Oak this was the cardinal sin drinking his soda and he couldn't touch him to move him.  The look says it all.

Best Part of Winter

Enough snow to sled.  We had to stop what we were doing for a little sledding action.  We  took the boys and a few of their neighbor friends.  It was runny noses and cold cheeks.  Couldn't be more fun!
