Wiggle Car Races

Today Grandma, Grandpa, and Braxton came down to play. We went over to the school and had a picnic, played on the playground, baseball, and wiggle car races. Lots of FUN!!!

So this week Grandma and Grandpa are watching Braxton while his mom is in California. So after the circus the tears came out and Grandma agreed to a sleep over (I tell you she is losing her mind). However, the boys had a blast they played with the dogs, played ball, went shopping and it was fast and included doughnuts, played in the fire, and went golfing. However, on their adventures they found this bat on the lawn. Gross!

Somehow they talked Grandma into letting it decompose in a jar so they could have the skeleton. So Gross and most likely rabid!!! However, that is what Grandparents are for........ they say yes when the answer should be NO!!

The Three Ring Circus!

Oh dear Grandma has done it again. She found this really great activity for the boys...the 3 ring circus! Only hitch she will stay home and watch Oak...nice scam Grams. lol Actually thanks so much we had a lot of fun. Here are the boys checking out the elephant rides. Their favorite part: Colton - elephants, Dagen - Tigers, Braxton - the bush he peed on twice, Grandpa - the guy running the hamster wheel, and Ry - the hula girls.

To Many Boys!!!

Sunday we all (meaning Idaho children) went up to Mom and Dads! We had yummy tacos, watched the game, and just messed around. The boys all wanted to hot tub. If you will notice in the picture there are no girls dumb enough to go. Let's just say 90% of the boys pictured here are going without suits YIKES!!

Schools Out!!!!!

Colton did it, he made it through 3rd grade! He did a great job this year! He had awesome grades! We only had to have 2 principal meetings and replace one vandalized desk. All in all I would say that is success! Colton was awarded a chess medal today at an assembly. Ms. McKenna cried so hard today, she had to leave at lunch to redo her makeup (tears of joy or sorrow we will never know). He also directed a DVD on Baluga Whales that we finally got to see. We are very proud of you T! Hope 4th grade is as happy as 3rd.

Dagen will miss Mrs. Hill's 1st grade class. This boy learned so much this year: how to be away from Mom and Dad without tears, how to make lots of friends, and most important how to read! We are so excited and proud of Dagen! These our some of the pictures we took at the field trip to the zoo!

Memorial Weekend

This weekend we went up to the cabin. It was a rainy trip but always fun. Here is our trip to Dave's for ice cream.Grandma and Grandpa came up to play.Oaklen loved driving the old truck.

Uncle Wade take a close look here and I think Grandpa needs the lecture. The only bad thing was Mudd no more then got out of the truck and got sprayed by the skunk. Then we turn around and the damn dog did it again. Here is Ryan washing him with tomato juice. Looks happy huh!

Annual Sorensen Yellowstone Trip

The 2010 Annual Sorensen Yellowstone Trip was a blast like always. We all took a cooler of food (except Grandma took 3?!?!?!?) loaded up and headed out.
The weather was snowy and cold. Grandpa choose to watch us walk the hot pots. Arizona has made him a little whimpy.
We tried to pose the boys at the petrified tree. Way to short of attention span only two stood still.
Obviously, Sorensens can't read the "Do Not Splash Sign!"
Mandie has a way of making us cringe. Ha Ha Ha. Love that girl!Here is our road side picnic. We froze our butts off but had fun doing it.
I wonder if Grandma even notices that Jake is climbing into the exhibit?

We did see wildlife in the park....just mostly in our cars (Grandpa, Grandma, Paul, Debra, Ashley, Brax, Suzy, Ryan, Colton, Dagen, Oaklen, Pam, Paul2, Courtney, Jordon, Dono, Dec, Zayd, Jay, Mandie, Tanner, Austen, and Jake). Thanks everyone for a fun time!

Dagen's 7th Birthday

The little man is finally 7. He had a great busy day! We started with a waffle breakfast. Then we opened presents before school. Then driven to school with ding dongs for the class. Me and Ry took him to McDonald's for lunch. Then picked him up from school. Then it was home to get ready for his friend party. Dagen choose a Blastoff Party. There was Dagen, Colton, Oaklen, Braxton, Tyler, Gibson, Griffin, Jace, Jaden, Elduardo, Grandma, and Grandpa. Lots of Fun! Happy Birthday Dagen! We Love you!

First Cabin Trip of the Year

The first trip up to the cabin is always a reminder of how much fun we have together...No people, no phones, and no rat race!!!

Colton got to drive the 4-wheeler all alone. You can see Ryan giving him the lecture...5 miles an hour, stay by the cabin, and turn the music down. lol

Oaklen cried everytime they would ride away without him. Dagen had a lot of fun riding too. That is before the stomach flu hit. Sorry little man.

By the end of the all the riding, dogging, and throwing up we where all tuckered out!

FBI Agent

Colton is getting so dang old. He hardly ever plays FBI anymore....so I had to snap this picture last time he actually did. Not sure how many more of those I will get.

Lost Tooth

Dagen finally lost his dangling tooth. Isn't he so cute!!! He turns 7 tomorrow time flies by when you are having fun!

What a Week?!?!?!?!

Ryan surprised us by taking us with him to Salt Lake for maintence on his plane. We got the boys up like normal, got ready for school, and told them we had to drop dad off at work. Then we loaded up and left. They boys were so excited. We spent the day with Micah and Kimberly's families. The kids had a great time. Then we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Smith. To our surprise we had a 3 day delay in maintence. We did not get back till Friday afternoon. Lucky boys missed 3 days of school. We had a fun time. Thanks Everyone!


This Saturday we got to spend the day with Tanner and Jake. We made playdough a big hit! Tanner said, "I made the best lunch ever", (a wonder what macaroni and cheese from a box can do for your reputation).

Colton participated in the District 91 Chess Tournament Saturday. He had lots of fun! He even came home with a certificate and a ribbon. Good job Colton!
