Air Show!!!!!!

The Air Show was awesome! Truely the best I have ever seen....and I have seen a lot! It was a hot and fun day!

Summer Drive-In

For a Saturday night fun we loaded up the truck and went to the Drive-in with Jay and Mandie's aka Candy's group. It was fun to be outside.

We took the truck with the air mattress in it....and in true fashion it kept running out of air. Thanks to our hot air hero Dad we survived.

Jake still got to come even after getting staples in his head.

The other night Dagen had crashed on his bike. This is how his friends brought him to me. I could not decide if they were being nice or mean. At least there where no real injuries from the bike crash (maybe just from the 4 man carry).

Finally

After many months of being loose....Dagen's tooth finally came out. Okay so I admit it was with a little help. He kept coming in crying because it was bleeding. So finally I just said hold still I will make it stop bleeding a wha la I just yanked it out. He is looking so dang cute toothless. He is also a little weird all of his teeth grow in behind the tooth before the baby tooth is loose. Just like a shark and really he does bite just like one too!!

So with Ryan's job he gets to do some unusual things, one of those things was to fly Govenor Otter around to campain. Well the boys think any government official is a true celebrity (they saw it on Ruff once). So Ryan arranged to have the boys meet him at the hanger. Colton and Dagen where so excited. They even had their photographer take a picture. So Ryan called and off we raced with bananas in hand. Lucky for me you can't see all the banana mess. They just brought the photos to us last weekend. Fun Stuff!

13th Anniversary

We did it we made it to our 13th Wedding Anniversary. Crazy but I love him more now then I did 13 years ago. We had a great getaway. We ate a lot of food, watched movies, toured to capital, and just hung out together. It was a great time!

However, on the way home we got to watch the INL fire burn. Then Ryan took me right through the big cloud of smoke (and probably the radiation). It was cool looking though kindof like the end of the world movies. Maybe that was his hint. lol

Thanks to my very sweet parents we took a 3 day vacation to Boise! The boys loved spending the time with Grandma and Grandpa. It is amazing that you never notice how noisy your kids are until they are not around. Lol Thanks so much!!!!

Good Read

For anyone out there looking for a good read this is it....Lonesome Dove. Trust me I was a little leary too! But trust me it is way good and juicy. Even if it might have put Oaklen to sleep.

Water Fight

I hope Paul and Jay enjoyed being the Water Kings this year.....because next year those boys will be big enough to throw them both in the pool.

We celebrated Grandpa's Birthday with food galore...dutch oven chicken, potatoes, corn on the cob, fruit salads, salsa, bread, vegtable salads, and ducth oven chocolate cake. YUMMY!!! Sorry all of you who ditched us for this event it was truly your bad!!

Fireworks at the airport

This was a weird Fourth of July fireworks. Generally we have our big family to celebrate together. We missed you all like crazy.

The Freezing Parade

The Fourth of July parade was of course in true Idaho style....freezing. We had to bundle up to see the parade. Finally, by the end we did get to take off the blankets.

Friday the holiday began with fireworks at Jay and Mandie's house with the Carter Clan. Dagen loved all the fireworks and running around.

Ryan loved the banana cake most of all.

Oaklen found a substitue Grandma for the night. He was thrilled by the big bangs.

Of course being that it was a party at Jay's house there where illegal fireworks and let's just say Officer Colton was not impressed by the cop that just drove by.
