Petting Zoo??

The Southwicks brought their cute little puppies to play for the weekend. Two out of three kids loved them. At one time it felt like a petting zoo with 2-puppies, 1 huge Mudd, and 7 little boys.....which on stunk the worst?!?!?

Sunday Dinner

Sunday we threw a little Sunday Dinner get together because Pam was in town. Paul 2 & Pam made us yummy roast. Everyone was crammed in my tiny house and it was nice to see everyone. Thanks for coming and pitching in you all. Some of the people missed out on my picture shots so here is the list: Mom, Dad, Paul, Deb, Ash, Brax, Suzy, Ry, Colt, Dagen, Oak, Pam, Paul2, Courtney, Dono, Dec, Zayd, Jay, Mandie, Austen, Tanner, Jake.

Costume Parade

The annual Halloween costume parade. Here is Ninja Dagen. He didn't even know we where there until we showed him the pictures. Silly Boy!

Hay Maze

For Ryan's last Birthday party we went to the hay maze in Archer, Idaho. We had lots and lots of fun!!! We got lost a lot and played on the hay stack. Fun Times!!

A maze that was suppose to take us 30 minutes ended up taking 1 1/2 hours. Braxton lead us to the same place so many times we even named it Braxton's house.

So after all the fun we meet up with Grandma, Grandpa, and Paul's group to have a Big Jud! YUMMY!!!

Our Little Performer

So all of you that know Colton know he does not speak, act, or sing for an audience. But today that all changed he had a play at school. He did his part without anyone forcing, threatening, or begging him. He just did such a wonderful job. This is a huge change!!!

GRRRR!!!

Colton received his BEAR award last night! He worked really hard to earn it. We are very proud of him! Good job kido!

Happy 35th Ryan!!!

Someone quick call the fire department....Yes we fit all 35 candles on the cake. Not sure if Ryan liked seeing his age in smoke, but the boys got a kick out of it.

Ryan has made it to 35!! Yippee!!!! We had a quiet Birthday with just the family! Happy Birthday Ry Guy!!

Sunday Boredom Buster

Sunday was just an uneventful day, so for our night activity we decided to carve our pumpkins. The boys always love this time of year.
Colton designed his with skull and cross bones all free hand. It is impressive.

Here is Oaklen saying, "No take picture of me!"

You can tell Dagen took his pumpkin carving very seriously......for all of about 30 seconds.

Maybe should have seen a Dr?

If we had to insure just one kid Oaklen would be it.

First injury: Jumping on Grandma's trampoline. Dagen comes in and says, "Mom Oaklen is hurt and he is crying." So I run out and blood is all down his face. Yes, he had a cut on his forhead and eye. But of course he wouldn't let us touch it. Finally, I just slapped a bandaid one. Three bandaids later and it finally stopped.

Second injury: We where playing Sharks in the water with the boys. Oaklen wanted to be blindfolded. So then he processeds to run right smack into the wall, and we start all over again. Blood everywhere.

Third injury: Today he decided to jump off a cement flower bed probably 3 feet high. I didn't see him jump and bang right into my head we collided. His goose egg is giant. He looks horrible.

So if any of you have an extra helmet we could use it.

Labor Day Weekend

We escaped for one last cabin trip before the snow....which could be any day it is Idaho. It was fun and relaxing just what we needed.
Oaklen needed a snack before his 4 wheeler ride.
Colton had to build a bird house for scouts. He refused to build anything but a bat house. The kids is full of exceptions to all rules. lol
Dagen was so proud of his bird house. He wrote no bats allowed on the side. He is just so stinking cute.

Wow!!

So after Grandma and Grandpa dropped off the after school doughnuts, the boys talked them into a ride around the block. Well the ride was like forever long. Finally, Grandma calls to tell me that they are at the airport because 5 helicopters just landed. Then I get a call 2 minutes later and the pilot came over and offered to show his plane to the boys. There was 2 Apache and 3 Black hawks. We rushed over with a camera. I'm not sure who was more excited the boys or Grandpa and Ryan. It as Colton said, "An opportunity of a lifetime."

First Day of School

Colton is in 4th grade this year. He is excited to have Ms. Trane for his teacher.
Dagen is a 2nd grader this year. He was looking most forward to hooking up with his friends again.
Mornings are so hard on our Dad!
Off to the bus we go!!
Oaklen had to entertain himself today. It was hard to not have the brothers around he cried when they left for the bus.
Grandma and Grandpa brought over doughnuts for after school snacks. Yum!!

Girls' Sleep Over

Finally, we made the sleep over happen. The kids have been waiting all summer. It was lots of fun!
And yes, I have no idea what time they all went to bed...they out lasted me! Thanks for the FUN!!

Hill Airforce Museum

This is the one place Colton was dying to see. He knows all the planes by name and number. He asked Dagen if he knew what a plane was and he didn't. Colton looked at Dagen and said this is something you should really know, you need to work on that. (As if it is like your ABC's) Well this ticked Dagen off so every chance he got he would tease Colton. You can see how serious Colton is and how just bugged Dagen is.
Ace is still teasing Colton at every turn.
