Here's to a Great 2012!!!

Rang in New Years in a Sorensen Way!!! We had lots of fun playing games, eating prime rib (too die for...sorry Jay), and watching the ball drop. Notice Debra was really excited for 2012, and notice the decorated deer. We would have been beating and left for dead you spoiled rotten boys. Happy New Year!!!!!

Gingerbread Making

This year we made our annual gingerbread houses. It was a little lonely without our Dad who was away on business:(. However, we made plenty of mess without him.

Oaklen's house was covered very thickly with mounds of frosting and candy! However, I think his clothes were covered just as thick!

Colton decided on an Indian village, complete with a fire and pumpkin patch.

Dagen was going BIG this year. His was by far the most complex and believe it or not it didn't fall even once.

It was so much fun!

Funnest Oops yet!

The other day Ryan had to fly to Jackson. Well once he got home he discovered he had left his computer at the airport. So after cussing him a bit, we decided to make a family trip out of the return trip to Jackson. We had a great time!! It was nice to get away. We went to the elk. Which you can see how much the boys loved the fresh air. Then we gorged ourselves at Bubba's (we are all in love with BBQ). I wish I would have had a camera on me to take a picture of the rib faces. Then we went over to the swimming pool. We where the first ones in and the last ones out. We had so much FUN!! Wish all Oops ended this good!!!

Dear Santa.....

The other night the boys wrote their letters to Santa and dropped them off in his special mail box. It was really cute! I have been telling the boys that if Santa brings them a phone, or video games, etc... I will just send them right back. So Dagen wrote in his letter, "Please leave me a return box in case my mom thinks it is crap." lol Hope they are on the nice list?!?!?!?

Here is sweet little Oak so excited about all the Christmas decorations. He is a perfect age for all the excitment. Had to post it cause he is just so stinking cute.

Beauty Night

Grandma treated all the Mom's to a girls beauty night! It was so much fun! We all got a pedicure, hair doos, and some got waxed. It was a treat to get to do this....Thanks Grandma! Your the best! Also, thanks to Deb for making us look fabulous. Thanks to Ashley for scrapping my feet for hours XOXOXO! However, notice the joy in Deb's face as she inflicts pain on Pam. Too Fun!!

Bonus Baby

Welcome Baby Marzdyn to the Sorensen Clan! This is the first family get together with our newest member. He is a stinking adorable baby and he has a very brave Mama. He is only 2 weeks old and she braved a Thanksgiving holiday with the troop. Dagen said her eyes might say, "She is a woman on the edge." But she made it wahoo!!!



Colton spent the most time with baby. Dagen was teaching him how to be a thumb sucker. Oaklen was curious but didn't realize Marz was his replacement. lol Welcome to Earth .....Little Marz!!!!

Thanksgiving

Oh the many things we have to be Thankful for....these are just a few pictured here. If you are not photoed you where probably refilling your plate and I missed you sorry:( Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and it never disappoints. We had a great dinner, good company, and lots of commotion. Love it!! However, this year Ashley Damnielle won my $50 bingo prize and Grandma and Grandpa bought all the kids flying monkeys. Creepy!! lol Thanks for the fun! Those of you that didn't get to come we missed you and hope maybe next time you can join the fun!

Last Cabin Run

We finally made it for a quick trip to winterize the cabin. It wasn't any too early either. One more snow fall and we would never have made it in there. We just ran up for the day and played in the snow. We threw snowballs, chased each other, made a new friend (stray puppy), and went sledding. Oaklen didn't last as long as the big boys so he went in and watched a movie by the fire.

When the boys where sledding it was so funny. I heard Colton say to Dagen, "You have no idea how hard it is to live with you." Loving Brother. lol

Ball, Ball, and more Ball

Colton and Dagen both picked to play basketball for the winter league. It has been fun to watch the boys learn the sport. However, Oaklen might think it is a little annoying that he has to sit on the side lines. This is his entertainment with his new friend.

Last time Colton played he hated it. So we are thrilled that this year he is excited and actually playing. He has grown up so much.

Dagen has always loved sports and it is so good for this boy to run out some of that energy. He is having lots of fun!

My Little Politician

Colton stepped way out of his comfort zone this time. He decided to run for student council. It required an essay, posters, stickers, and a speech. He worked very hard and did some really great work. Today he informed me that he got elected and he was so very excited! Congrats Colton on running a good race. We are very proud of you!

Happy Halloween

Here are some things that are scarier then lions, tigers, and bears oh my. Colton (starwars), Dagen (Army Man), Oaklen (Captian America), Ryan (creepy clown). lol They had parades, parties, trunk or treat and regular trick or treat. Busy but fun day! PS I still offically hate Halloween.

We have had some incredibly busy weeks lately. The other night this is as far as the little guy could go.....Dangerous place to be. lol
