Baby Animal Day

Okay so in our house 99.9% of what we do revolves around the big boys. So we decided it was about time we did something for little Oak.....baby animal day. I thought the bigger boys would survive it.....but after it was all said and done I think it was a just barely survival. lol They mostly sat at the honey station and ate the samples. However, it was right at Oaklen's stage. He loved to discover and explore every single thing. He really loved the corn seed box. So it was worth every rolled eye, deep sigh, and mumble the big boys gave. lol

Mini Escape

We just had to escape the regular life. So one day we loaded up and went up to the cabin. We didn't stay because someone was already there. But we had a fun day anyway. We went to fishing bridge and the fish where very very hungry. We had a great time throwing bread to the fish and rocks just for fun. If you notice Dagen was told not to get wet.....the kid pushes every line to the limit. lol We even found a little snow on our mini adventure. Now if we could just have a few days at the cabin.

Bed Hog

The big boys had a sleep out. This is how I found them in the morning. No wonder Colton tell him NO when he wants to share his bed. lol

Hippity Hoppity Easter

This year we dyed Easter eggs. I made the boys dye them without their school shirts on (that is why you don't see Colton and Dagen...my modest boys). Then we did Easter baskets before church. As you can see by their faces we have early morning church. lol Then after church we did our Easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny had all sorts of new places to hide the eggs since the house was still a bit of a wreck. It was a fun and relaxing day.

Duct Tape?

So often times Colton tends to get put on the back burner, due to the fact that he is mellow and he has high maintence brothers. So he has been asking and asking to make a duct tape wallet. So before he got home from school I got some duct tape and did some googling. Look what the kid made a duct tape wallet. It was fun to spend a little one on one time with him. He is growing up all to fast so I have to savor the time when he really wants a Mom. Lol!

Oh Brother

So Oaklen pinched Dagen the other day. So he got busted. However, who did he run to none other the Dagen. Oh Brothers they are mind boggling.

Ijump

So for one last Hurrah for the break we took the kids to a new trampoline gym. It was wall to wall trampolines. They had a great time and I was suprised at how well the big boys did on the boards. Definately worth it!!!

Spring Break

Spring break 2012 was like no other we have ever had. We usually take a big trip for the week. However, due to the fact that Ryan worked and my house was a disaster zone my kind parents offered us to live at their house for the week. Thanks so much!!! We had a relaxed and kicked back week. Playing outside, bb guns, hot tubbing nightly, trampoline, etc.. All the fun things about Grandpa and Grandma's house minus the Grandpa and Grandma. Dagen said, "It was the best spring break he has ever had".

A work in progress.

So it is ok a good thing they had plastic to cover all the ruined walls and I couldn't see what was going on. This week we have plastic down, walls, paint, and today a washer and dryer. Kitchen is still on the mess list but progress.

ARGH!!!!

So when I pulled in from my trip I was greeted by the restoration team. At first it was just going to be a fix in the laundry room but it has now gone to the kitchen. So we are totally blocked out of the kitchen and laundry room. Stuff is piled in the front room and family room. So we are living in the bedroom and bath. We might drive each other crazy soon. lol The workers have been great it is just inconvienent. I think we will be spring breaking in Rexburg. ha ha ha

5th Grade Patriotic Program

Last night we got to go to Colton's 5th grade district Patriotic Program. They did on outstanding job. It made me almost cry. He is getting so old and we are very proud of him. Love you Colt!!!

One Hell of a Trip!! Day Three!

Day three was the Welcome Home!! Aaron did an outstanding job. We missed him so much and are happy he is back. Jennifer and B where so nice to offer the brand new house as a hotel. Thanks so much! It was great to hang out with everyone!







Well that wasn't the end of the trip. We flew out that afternoon. After a weather delay of 1 hour. When we got to Vegas we had to go see the sites so it was a short sleeping night. We had to be at the airport at 4 am. Ouchie Ma Ma! Everyone was a titch on the grouchy side. ha ha ha. Then when I arrived home there was a Restoration truck at my house. ARGH!!!
