Father's Day BBQ and Birthday Party

Hands down we have the best Father ever and our kids are lucky to have a very special Grandpa. This year we celebrated by having a big BBQ with lots of yummy food, fun people, water, soap?, golf, basketball, and bike riding. It was supper fun to hang with the family. Happy Father's Day!!! We threw in a bonus birthday party for Zayder who turned 5!!! Happy Bday big boy!!! It was so much fun Brax jumped right out of his pants. lol JPG" imageanchor="1" style="">

Rexburg Airshow

The whole Sorensen Clan went to the Rexburg airshow. It was lots of fun to see everyone and we love planes. It was a big group with lots of boys....which of course means lots of commotion. There was lots of umbrella pokes, stroller races, water fights (sorry to the old men in front of us), treats, and of course the biggest taffy ball ever made (silly Dagen and Declyn). It was a high flying event. lol

Smart Boys....Poor Dog

So the last few days the boys have been overly willing to walk the dog? After seeing their new methods I understand why. Here is Oaklen looking in his binoculars for his brothers. He found that Colton and Dagen being towed by Mudd on their heelys. Makes sense now. lol

It's Final!!!!!

It is finally complete, the school year 2011-2012, is finally over and not a moment too soon. After about a week of being called to the principal for the "bomb" picture, failing a couple of subjects, needing a lunch cause they didn't like what was on the menu, school parties, friend parties, no pies for the principal, etc..... the end couldn't come soon enough. lol The boys did great on their grades and we are thrilled to be starting summer. The both received medals for chess and Colton received one for being on the student council!!! Way to go boys! Now next year really stay out of the principal's office!!!!

Just one more day

At the end of our vacation we just had to stretch it to the maximum so we went to the living aquarium in Utah. Colton, Dagen, Oaklen, Braxton and Grandma loved seeing all the water creatures. We watched the octopus being feed, touched the sting rays, and watched the otters. The boys soaked up all the facts and Grandma was right along side of them. I think they would have never left. lol We had Paul, Ryan and Grandpa with us but they are probably sitting on a bench in the corner. lol It was a super fun and relaxed trip. Thanks!

Coldest Airshow I've ever Seen

A group of us went down the the Hill Airforce show. The weather was not cooperating in the morning. So we took our time getting there. We had a nice hot breakfast before heading the the airforce base. On the way over it was a down pour and hailing, but luck was on our side once we pulled in not another drop. It was cool and breezy. Notice the snow on the mountains. It was a great airshow and when the Thunderbirds flew over Oaklen told Grandma and Grandpa that he almost peed his pants. Lol It was supper fun to be with everyone and according to Colton you can't go wrong with airplanes. lol After we had a yummy dinner at Famous Dave's. Then Colt, Dage, Oak, and Brax had a load of fun swimming at the hotel.

Memorial Day Graves

Colton's request while we where in Salt Lake was to put flowers on Grandma Banana's and Grandpa's grave. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Smith's house and cut flowers and went with them to the cemetery. It was the first time my kids have ever done that. They had a fun time hearing stories about their ancestors. Then Grandpa picked a "Mo Better" dinner it was so yummy and a hit with the kids. Dessert was shaved ice. Thanks for the fun evening.

Rained out of the Zoo

We came up with a fabulous plan....go to Hogle zoo with the Southwicks. Only trouble was that mother nature didn't agree. The boys were so excited to get to go do something with their cousins. It started out nice but by time we got to the elephants it was a down pouring and very cold rain. Since it showed no signs of stopping we decided to try a plan B. Which was Carl's Jr. and $5 limit at target? lol It was fun to see the boys together again. They have so much fun together
