Last Day at the Cabin

We had a full day we started with fishing bridge, then big springs, and then the search for the waterfall on warm river. After much driving we finally found it and what a hit it was. The kids loved this spot and of course we had to get in the water again.

Horse Shoe Lake

Event for the Day was Horse Shoe Lake. We had rented canoes and headed out for a day in the Sun. It was a perfect day! The teenagers swam, sunk their canoes, and always wore their life jackets. wink wink. The other kids canoed, caught bugs, fished, and waded. I said I wasn't going to get wet, but much to my dismay Austen had other ideas and I was a drowned rat before the day ended. It was super fun!

Look who has arrived.......1st stop Cabin....

Look who arrived in Idaho ......none other then the Nielsens. First stop was the cabin. We picked them up at the airport with a long sign of "Welcome to Idaho." We then packed our bags and headed for the cabin. Of course stopping at Big Jud's for a bite to eat. We settled in watched a movie, visited, and watch Tanner rope the everyone in the room. It is just the beginning of a 10 day Sorensen style vacation. Wahoo!!!!

4th of July

I love the 4th of July. This year we went to the parade, Dickey's BBQ, a movie, then relaxed outside, pizza, and fireworks. Thanks for the fun!!!

Captain America Round 2

Since we saw The Avenger's ----Captain America has made another debut. He is on tough dude. lol

Dagen Can Do It!!!

Dagen was so excited to see that he had grown tall enough to touch on Colton's 10-speed. Not that there were a few bumps and bruised, but he was so proud of himself. Way to go kiddo!!

Look Ma ..........

Oaklen has crossed another milestone.....he can ride his bike without training wheels. Colton had decided he was ready and took off the wheels one afternoon. The kid had help about 5 times and the rest was history. Now the big concern is I has having a hard time keeping up with him on foot .....what will I do on wheels. lol

Grandma and Grandpa Smith's Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Smith came for a visit. We got to go to the zoo, movie, out for snow cones and ice cream. The boys had fun with the fireworks they brought.

Oaklen Disagrees

So my boys love to have sleep outs. So far I have always let Oaklen fall asleep then I move him into his bed. Well one night he decided that was enough of that. He had fallen asleep and we of course moved him into his bed. But much to my surprise when I woke up he was sleeping in Dagen's sleeping bag. I guess in the night he decided he was big enough to do what he wanted and took matters into his own hands. Unbeknownst to me he had a sleep out and guess what he lived. lol

Hannah B's Sleep Over

We were lucky enough to have Hannah stay with us a couple of nights. She and Dagen have a ton of fun together. They explored Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen's house for a whole day. Then they played, had snow cones, jumped, giggled, etc..... She is so tom boy. One day I said you have to all either do your hair or wear a hat. Of course I didn't have a hat for a girl. Later she stopped by and I said u going to come and live with me and she said yes, but I will bring a lot of hats. lol

Jamacian Return

So the other day Colton chose not to got to Dagen's ball practice. He of course called and was bored. I told him he chose a good day not to come it was freezing and we had to sit in the car for the whole time. So when I returned he had his lounge chair, palm tree, umbrella drink and Jamacian music blaring. What a funny kid. lol
