Dillon Beach

One day we loaded up for a trip to the beach with lunch in tow.  It was quite a drive over to it but it sounded so fun.  I was thinking Sun, relaxation, exploration...lol  It was the coldest day I have ever been to a beach.  It was super windy and we were being sandblasted.   

It was my boys first time seeing the beach.  It was a crazy day to take them but it was super fun to see them by it.

 

Oaklen, Debbie, and Grams didn't last long.  They ended up sitting back at the car.  The rest of us went exploring.  We found all kinds of things we just don't see in Idaho.

 

Even got to cold for the boys so me and Amber went out for more exploration.  Next time we will go on a good weather day but it was super FUN!!!

Jelly Belly Factory

Jelly Belly Factory was a request from my boys from memories from an early trip.  We went on a tour and it was fun!  We sampled all kids of jelly beans.  Andy and Dagen loved Rotten Egg.  lol 

Park Play

In the evening we would go down to a park about a block away.  They kids rode bikes and played on the playground.  Heaven for my boys.

 

Nielsen Hang Out

The Nielsen's were sweet enough to let us crash at their house.  The Cousins had a great time together.  Here is Amber's tickle time with Grandma.

Train Museum

Our Adventure for one day was to visit the Sacramento Train Museum.  It was a fun venture.  Colton and Grandpa loved the fact and the rest of us loved the exploring....it was like a giant jungle gym.  We topped off the night with a pizza stop at a very special pizza joint...wink wink Lynn. lol

 

Sunny CA here we come!!

I took my boys out of school a couple days early and headed to California with my Mom and Dad.  It was a full day of travel....we were feeling it.  lol

 

They boys loved that it was warm enough to play in the water.

 

We attended Amber's Graduation....and let's just say it was hell literally hotter then I have ever been.  They keep saying move here the weather is great but dang on day I was dying of heat the next I was freezing.  Not that great lol!

 

Good Bonding time fore Andy and Dagen...food, video games, beat each other and start over again.

Colton's Singing Program

This was Colton's last elementary program.   I would like to report the kid is consistent.  He didn't sing a word from K - 6th grade.  Ha Ha.  However, he was the cutest one there.

Go West

Dagen's Go West 4th grade program.  It was adorable.  We were not sure we would be in town for this event so it was a bonus for us that the date got changed.  He is the cute cowboy on the top row in the dark brown hat.  Good Job ACE!

Wrapping up Preschool Style

Oaklen loved preschool.  There are were a couple of his favorite days.  Pirate day.....I think he loved the loot most (rolos) and yoga day.  Makes me so sad he is growing much to fast.

Moutain Man Randevous

Due to the fact Dagen loves his Mama....I never get to be with this boy at school.  So when they asked if I could go to the Mountain Man Randevous I jumped at the chance.  It was so much fun to see them acting like the good old days.  He loved trading eagle feathers and arrowheads, panning for gold, pulling a hand cart, watching the indian dancers, etc...  It was a fun day and a rare chance.

Dagen's Outdoor Birthday Party

Dagen requested an outdoor birthday party.  We had to wait for a couple of weeks after his birthday to pull it off.....but it was definitely worth the wait.  We took the boys and a couple of his best friends to the cabin for the day.  They all brought their bb guns and pocket knifes.  You might think we are crazy to let them roam free being boys!  It was one of their best outings yet.  They explored till their hearts were content.  Then we had a old fashion hot dog roast by the fire.  When we thought parents might start wondering were we had gone we ran into town to get ice cream at the old fashion malt shoppe.  It was a perfect day for any 10 year old boy!!
