Tire Swings

You want me to do what? Oh my ?!?!?!?!?!? Of course dear I would love to hang tire swings for you. So the conversation between man and wife goes. lol
The higher you could swing Dagen the bigger his smile got.
1 little Colton monkey sitting in the swing......
See look how much fun the boys had....once again my idea was a success no matter what our Dad thought.

Special for Auntie Carolyn and Uncle Wade

This kid took your helmet lesson to heart. Oak insisted on wearing his helmet even to ride a sationary lawn mower. Thanks!
Check out the other post we all took it to heart! Thanks!!

4 Wheeling

This trip to the cabin we 4 wheelered a lot.... not so great on the broken tail bone. lol We tittled out to play on the old combine. It was covered with stinging needle.
Colton and Suzy road together. Finally, I got Colton to let me have a turn to drive. We hit a huge mud puddle and got soaked. The other chance I had we went through the trees and let's just say it was a crazy ride. No wonder he likes to drive.
All to boys wearing their helmets. We stopped to find snake grass on every ride.
Oaklen fell asleep on both of our long rides. I guess it is hard working riding with Ryan.

Discovery Center in West Yellowstone

This weekend we took a little trip to West Yellowstone to the Discovery Center to see the bears and the wolves. It was a fun filled day. The boys all climbed into a real bear trap.....and yes I did think about closing the hatch. jk
We played on the wolf den. Dagen is howling like the wolves, and Colton and Oaklen are inside the den.
Oaklen was a little to young to get to feed the bears (yes, I know Mom and Dad he will never get to do anything because he is the linger longer child). However, he had a great time running away and having his Dad catch him.
The boys got to be the bear helpers and actually go into the bear cage and feed the bears. Colton was a little nervous the bears would still be in the cage.
Dagen thought it was great hiding all the tomatoes, apples, dog food, and bearsicles.
Here is Colton and Dagen watching Sam, the bear, find their hidden ice cubes.

Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen

The boys and I took full advantage while our Dad was on a overnight. Grandpa and Grandma invited us over for a sleep over. We had lots of fun playing in the fire, jumping, getting wet, shooting, and just spending time together. Thanks for a good weekend!
Colton talked Grandpa into teaching him how to shoot the pellet gun. He made targets and spend the whole morning shooting.
Once Dagen caught on he rarely missed the target. Thanks to a very patient teacher.
Oaklen insisted on having just as many turns as the older boys. However, he never thought it was his time to share.
This was the first day it has been warm enough to get wet. This means summer is officially here...no matter how short it might last in Idaho.
Thank heavens for Grandma! She has the magic to put Oak to sleep after a very whinny moment.
Oh no we even wore out Grandpa!

Smith Yellowstone Trip 2010

The eyes tell the story. The Smith trip to Yellowstone consisted of 1 van, 1 Grandpa, 1 Grandma, 2 Dads, 2 Moms, 1 teenage girl (ipod included), 1 tween, 2 drama girls, 2 farting & burping boys, and 1 wild baby! The weather was cold, we saw the bears, we ate freezing picnics, we swam, had ice cream, and didn't even kill each other. That is Success! Thanks for the fun!!

Walking the boardwalk.

Scott, Grandpa, and Ryan at Firehole.

This is Ms. Abigail...she was miserable on this trip--no friends, no cell phone, no internet--just family in a van for 2 whole days you have to feel for the girl. lol

Mrs. Thing telling someone off ....the poor soul. lol

How many kids can you see?

This was going to be our couple picture for Grandma...however, you will see that my dirty look ruined that. Hello I just saw my 2 year old running toward the road. lol

The kids running up a little trail to who knows where it leads?

Dagen and Hannah looking for bugs to put in their bug catchers.

Colton, Sarah, Alexis, and Oaklen loved being out of the van.

Wiggle Car Races

Today Grandma, Grandpa, and Braxton came down to play. We went over to the school and had a picnic, played on the playground, baseball, and wiggle car races. Lots of FUN!!!

Grandpa was the mastermind behind the wiggle car races.

Dagen and Braxton racing around the circle.

Colton thought it was much funner running into Brax.

And the winner is DAGEN!!!

Grandma ...NO No NO time for a break.....we have four boys going in four directions.

BATS!!!

So this week Grandma and Grandpa are watching Braxton while his mom is in California. So after the circus the tears came out and Grandma agreed to a sleep over (I tell you she is losing her mind). However, the boys had a blast they played with the dogs, played ball, went shopping and it was fast and included doughnuts, played in the fire, and went golfing. However, on their adventures they found this bat on the lawn. Gross!

Somehow they talked Grandma into letting it decompose in a jar so they could have the skeleton. So Gross and most likely rabid!!! However, that is what Grandparents are for........ they say yes when the answer should be NO!!

The Three Ring Circus!

Oh dear Grandma has done it again. She found this really great activity for the boys...the 3 ring circus! Only hitch she will stay home and watch Oak...nice scam Grams. lol Actually thanks so much we had a lot of fun. Here are the boys checking out the elephant rides. Their favorite part: Colton - elephants, Dagen - Tigers, Braxton - the bush he peed on twice, Grandpa - the guy running the hamster wheel, and Ry - the hula girls.

Braxton, Colton, Dagen, and Grandpa having a little cotton candy.

Ryan and Suzanne not a side show!?!?!

The boys had to have the $10 light up swords. Now if that doesn't spell a disaster.

To Many Boys!!!

Sunday we all (meaning Idaho children) went up to Mom and Dads! We had yummy tacos, watched the game, and just messed around. The boys all wanted to hot tub. If you will notice in the picture there are no girls dumb enough to go. Let's just say 90% of the boys pictured here are going without suits YIKES!!

Schools Out!!!!!

Colton did it, he made it through 3rd grade! He did a great job this year! He had awesome grades! We only had to have 2 principal meetings and replace one vandalized desk. All in all I would say that is success! Colton was awarded a chess medal today at an assembly. Ms. McKenna cried so hard today, she had to leave at lunch to redo her makeup (tears of joy or sorrow we will never know). He also directed a DVD on Baluga Whales that we finally got to see. We are very proud of you T! Hope 4th grade is as happy as 3rd.

Dagen will miss Mrs. Hill's 1st grade class. This boy learned so much this year: how to be away from Mom and Dad without tears, how to make lots of friends, and most important how to read! We are so excited and proud of Dagen! These our some of the pictures we took at the field trip to the zoo!

Jaden, Dagen, and Raymond - Good luck in 2nd grade!
