Go Broncos!!

This Saturday was so much Fun!! A couple of friends in the neighborhood invited us to go to the Boise Bronco Football game. We flew to Boise in the afternoon, went to dinner, and off the the game. We sat on the 2nd row at the 40 yard line. It was way close you could see the sweat on the players. The fans were crazy fun to watch. We sat by a grandma who wore the blue wig, and all decked out in orange and blue. I saw a total of 10 people who did not wear white, orange, and blue. It was a great time! I know you are all saying what about your boys.....have no worries. They got to play with Abigail all day, have pizza, make a mess, stay up until 1 am, and they got to ride in the plane to back to Pocatello tonight. Fun Times!!!

Ace my little Ace

Oh my dear sweet Dagen........has been at it again. Oh the sleepless nights, the tears, and the moments that even pepsi doesn't cure. lol This is only one of his many shananigans he has been up to lately. He comes up the stairs and said, "Mom I'm stuck."

Literally, he had gotten his finger stuck inside a dvd. Oh how I pray I can keep up with this little rascal.

1st Dentist Visit

Here is Oaklen's first dentist appointment. He thought it was great cause Auntie Mandy was his dentist, and she even let him watch a movie. He looks so small in that great big chair.

Labor Day

Labor Day was spent on a quiet weekend at the cabin. That place is heaven on earth! We had a great time playing games, 4 wheeling, shooting BB guns, mowing lawn, eating ice cream, visiting cave falls, just hanging out. We did have a little truck problem so bonus we got Grams and Gramps to come to our rescue and BONUS they got to stay for the rest of the weekend. Thanks!!

Airplanes

There happened to be some different planes fly into town, and we of course had to check them out. We meet up with Jay & Mandie's family and Grandpa and Grandma. We spent the whole morning checking out the birds. I would tell you what they are but I'm not sure I am sure it has a number and a letter name. lol

After the boys got home from school they went back over to check out the inside. Colton and Oaklen love the airport. Dagen well he stayed home with me and Grams.

School is in session!

The school bells rang this morning at 8:10 and the boys were very excited! Their Mom & Oaklen were very lonely.

Colton is in 5th grade and has Mr. Callister. He is very excited to get back into the learning scene, and that he only has 9 girls in his class.

Dagen is in 3rd grade and has Mrs. Campbell, who just had a baby Tuesday, so is being taught by Mrs. Marshall for 2 months. He was happy to go back to play with his friends. He picked hot lunch everyday till November. Happy Mom!!!!

We hope they have a fun and big growing year. As for me and Oak we will adjust to the quiet days until next summer.

Last Hurrah!

For our last Hurrah of the summer. Colton picked to go to Cress Creek hiking! We had a fun time and roasted all the while. The boys had fun playing in the creek, looking over the edge, and seeing the lizard. They even found a dead rattle snake. Gross!! Right up the boys alley. Then we went to green canyon swimming. We had a fun last day!!! Too bad school always has to start:(

Boring

So the other night I was watching the news. Oaklen kept telling me "It's Boring" over and over. So he left my room and I thought he went to hang out with his Dad. Later his Dad came in the room with no Oaklen.

So the search began. This is where we found him sound asleep. Had I know the boring news was all it took to get the kid to go to bed I would have started doing it long ago. lol

Drive In

Last weekend we finally made it to the drive in movie, Smurfs and Zoo Keeper. It was funny because we pull in and who should show up next to us then Jay's good friend Aaron and his family. I texted Jay and he claimed he wasn't invited. What a party pooper. Their kids climbed in the back of the truck. Until the storm blew in then Colt climbed in with them in their truck. It was lots of fun and Zoo Keeper was lots of laughs (especially for a 8 and 10 year old boy).

Long Day?

This is when you know that you have successfully tuckered the kid out. lol

Chuckars Game

This summer we only made it to one Chuckar baseball game. It was a boring game, but the company was fun. It was Grandma, Grandpa, Jay, Mandie, Jake, GPA Filmore, Ry, Oak, Dagen, and Colton. And thanks to Jake all the boys got their hats signed by Charlie the Chuckar. They also ran the bases afterwards. Lots of fun!!

Family Vacation

This summer we went of family vacation to Boise. The boys had a ball. We got to fly over and drive back. We swam a lot!!!!! The boys chose to go to the Boise Zoo and the Old State Pen. It was nice to get away with my little family. Gets harder and harder to do as they get older, so I have to play hard while we have them.

Girls Camp 2011

This year I got to go to girls camp for a little bit. It was so much fun! We have a great group of girlies. Thanks for the Fun!!!

Increase

So this week we received very exciting news......the Sorensen's baseball team is increasing by one more little guy. Congrats to Pam and Paul2!! Check out their blog for details.

Campout

Colton had to complete a family campout for Scouts. He learned how to put up a tent. They all stayed out for the night....except little Oak he needed his Mama! He was scared.
