ARGH!!!!

So when I pulled in from my trip I was greeted by the restoration team. At first it was just going to be a fix in the laundry room but it has now gone to the kitchen. So we are totally blocked out of the kitchen and laundry room. Stuff is piled in the front room and family room. So we are living in the bedroom and bath. We might drive each other crazy soon. lol The workers have been great it is just inconvienent. I think we will be spring breaking in Rexburg. ha ha ha

5th Grade Patriotic Program

Last night we got to go to Colton's 5th grade district Patriotic Program. They did on outstanding job. It made me almost cry. He is getting so old and we are very proud of him. Love you Colt!!!

One Hell of a Trip!! Day Three!

Day three was the Welcome Home!! Aaron did an outstanding job. We missed him so much and are happy he is back. Jennifer and B where so nice to offer the brand new house as a hotel. Thanks so much! It was great to hang out with everyone!







Well that wasn't the end of the trip. We flew out that afternoon. After a weather delay of 1 hour. When we got to Vegas we had to go see the sites so it was a short sleeping night. We had to be at the airport at 4 am. Ouchie Ma Ma! Everyone was a titch on the grouchy side. ha ha ha. Then when I arrived home there was a Restoration truck at my house. ARGH!!! More to follow in later posts.

One Hell of a Trip!!! Day Two!

Day two we decided our only option was to rent a car and drive to Phoenix. So we started our day off with a buffet breakfast for $20 a person. Then we finally got the car. Of course we had a gps but someone was too impatient to enter the address before we started off. Which lead to a wrong turn that added an additional 2 hours onto an already long drive. lol So 6 hours later we finally made it to Phoenix. We meet up with everyone at Famous Dave's Yummy Stuff!


Then we went to a Baseball game. It was lots of fun to see the Royals and the Padres. It was a bit chilly (the entire trip) so much for SUN!!





It was great that we had finally made it to our destinations and great to see everyone!!

One Hell of a Trip!!! DAY ONE

Day on of the a trip with the Sorensen's. We decided we where going to fly down to Aaron's welcome home. We had it all worked out.....or at least that is what we thought. 1st flight was delayed 7 hours. We missed our connection in Vegas. The airline was less then helpful. We found ourselves with no hotel, food, or car and no chance for a flight. We finally found a hotel and caught a taxi. We made the best of it and it was still lots of fun!!

This is Ashley and Brax reaction to the phone call their Dad placed into customer service at the airport. Big eyes means Big language. lol

Here we are stranded in the Vegas airport with no food, hotel, car. Starting to be a long day. lol

After standing in line for 1.5 hours to catch a taxi we finally, we made it to a hotel!


At the end of our long day Ash discovered a unidentified thing in our bed. Gross!!! It was so late we where told just to get in bed. lol Needless to say we slept on top.

Double the FUN!!

It is the best day ever:) We had our double birthday!! Oaklen chose to go swimming in Jackson, and I chose to eat at Bubba's!!!!! We had lots of Fun!! Then Sunday we did presents and cake. The kid was on cloud 9 for the entire weekend. He insisted on a tiger cake and Ryan didn't disappoint. He had a hard time waiting to lick the black letters. You can imagine black everywhere. lol I realize there will be a day when he says really Mom sharing blows, but until then it is Double the FUN!!!

Idaho Wind

The other day we had extra strong Idaho wind. The kind that rips big old pine trees out of the ground and ripes shingles off. Well the Colton, Dagen, and Shelton asked if they could go outside. I was like No it is just not safe. So they presisted to the point I said ok fine if you get hurt your problem. (Bad mom moment). They about blew away, but no major injuries. Once again they where right they had a great time.

Snow Time Out

So the other day we actually got some snow that stuck to the groud. I had carpet cleaned all morning and Oak was getting terribly bored. So we had to have a snow time out. We bundled up and went out to shovel, make tracks, and play snowball. We could have played all day if Oak's need for food hadn't stopped us. Funnest Time Out!!!

Friends

So we have a couple of regular good friends come over some mornings to excercise and they bring their little girls. They are great playmates. The other morning they had just been to darn quiet so I went in search of them. This is where we found Oaklen and Sophie rocking in the chair with the ipod on Wonder Pets. They are such cute kids together.

Look who is ELEVEN!!!

Can you believe he is ELEVEN? Time goes by way to fast. This year he wanted a new bike, art kit, and remote control cars. His wishes were granted. He even got Birthday pie with chocolate shavings and he lit his own candles. We had a superbowl birthday and it was lots of Fun!! Happy Birthday Not So Little Guy!!!!

Colton's Birthday Party

This year Colton decided he didn't want a big party just a couple of special friends to go flying and out to kiwi loco. They had a great time! We watched them land and they bolted out of the plane and ran to the fence to tell me about the ZERO GRAVITY manuever. THEY SAID IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday my not so little guy Colton!!!!!

Arrow of Light/Crossing Over

Colton officially made it through Webelos. He did an outstanding job and received his arrow of light. The highest award in cub scouting. He is very excited to finally be a boy scout. He was adorable saluting us on his crossing over the bridge. It is kindof a WAHOO...no more cubs moment and a What the Heck .....no more cubs for Colton. We are very proud of the hard work he put in and that he stuck with it. Love you kido!!
