Remember the Valentines I started doing the candle light dinner and the boys were vomiting.  Well now they have come to expect this as a tradition.  This year we made yummy homemade pizza, salad, and mini cheesecakes.  We loved eating in the candle light.  I love these boys to pieces even if the candles turned into an awesome science experiment.  XOXOXOXO

Special Day

Colton received the priesthood last Sunday.  He was super excited and looked so handsome in his new suit.  He had lots of support and love from family.  Thanks to everyone for coming, texting, and  the phone calls.  We are super proud of this boy!

 

 

Happy Birthday Colton!!!

 

Look our baby boy is 12 years old!!!  That means we are getting old.  He didn't spend much time with us this Birthday!  He woke up early opened his gifts, went to school, then to ski school, came home and graced us with enought time to blow out candles on his cheesecake.  He did get a cell phone so I figure we will mostly see him like this for years to come.   Then he went out to Dave's for Ribs on Saturday.   Happy Birthday Colton!

12th Birthday Party

I am holding firm 12 is the last year Mom is throwing the party.....However, this was one of the funnest, easiest,  and cheapest parties this kid has asked for.  Colton picked to do a sledding party.  So we loaded up the boys Colt, Dagen, Oak, Shelton, Preston, and Griffin and headed out to Freeman park.  I thought they would have lasted maybe 1-2 hours no they sledded for 4 hours.  Then we took them to pizza pie cafe to stuff themselves to the gills.  Happy Birthday Colton!  ROUND 1

 

Christmas Eve

This year we broke tradition. We did the Smith Christmas Eve party the day before. So on Christmas Eve me and the boys made sugar cookies for Santa and then we made broken candy canes for the reindeer (something Santa told the boys years ago). Then we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen's for homemade noodles and to visit. We couldn't stay out late cause Santa was on his way.

Preschool Program

Oak had his first preschool program it was a Christmas Hawaiian Style. It was super cute. We savored everything he said. Funny how that changes with your last. Love that kid. sorry no video having issues.

Candy Making

So for family home evening we made candy. Much to Colton's dismay. Then we went to the music house. Much to Dagen's dismay. lol So I say we were 50% and 50% that equals 100% right. lol Hey can't say we didn't try. ha ha

Whatever Oak Wants Oak Gets

The other night it was freezing and dark. Oak asks if we can put up the Santa and of course we said yes! Duh!!! Promise I request lots less and am told no regularly. lol

Bear Award

Dagen recieved his Bear Award. He is a good scout! Way to Go!!!

In Style

So after the traveling in the plane we jumped into a car that had ample room compared to our car and drove to the hotel. Which was all decked out with Christmas decorations, and entered a room with a view and a cheese platter. The boys thought they were royalty. It was a short trip the baptism was early in Provo.

Suprise!!!!

We had planned on making a trip to Utah for Issac's baptism. However, we got a bonus suprise Ryan had to fly down the plane for work so we got to travel in style. Super Fun!

Oak's favorite part of his day

Ryan is lucky enough to get to come home for lunch most days. Oaklen is always so happy when he arrives. However, his look is more of hey dude step away from my pizza.

Bowling Sorensen Style

Some of us decided to hook up for a night of bowling and tacos. It was super fun to watch the little boys think they were big. It was a fun night!

Bingo

Even though we had no Grandparents for Thanksgiving, we decided the show must go on. So as tradition goes we played bingo. It is always so much fun! Zayder won the big loot this year. Congrats! The constellation prize was giant slappy hands. Let's just say ouchie mama!!!! Super fun to inflicted pain on those you love. ha ha. Thanks for the good time everyone.
